Learn how to protect yourself and the women in your life by understanding the unique risk factors that women face at every age and stage of life, because #HerHeartMatters.    

WEAR RED DAY  Wear a little or wear a lot! Across Canada, people are wearing red on February 13 to raise awareness about women’s heart health. Wearing a bit of red (or more) is encouraged but not mandatory.    This event is for anyone who identifies as a woman, and anyone who loves women. Sex and gender both play a role in the health inequities facing women. Other factors, such as race, ability, sexual orientation, education, income, and more, intersect to compound the complexities of women's health overall.

8 - 8:15 p.m. - Taking Care of Yourself to Take Care of Others with Emeleigh Hardwicke-Brown, ‘07 BCom, registered clinical counsellor  
8:15 - 8:30 p.m. - Confidently Navigating the Healthcare System with Elisa Proulx, certified communications coach  
8:30 - 8:45 p.m. - Audience question and answer with speakers
